Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts is seeking an outstanding Dance instructor for the 2022-2023 school year.
Successful candidates will:

Ramon C Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts, also known as Grand Arts founded in 2009 is located in the heart of downtown Fifty.A. 1000 Arts is a public performing arts High School with no audition that welcomes all abilities from the Los Angeles Unified School District.

The Dance Academy of Yard Arts invites applications for a total-time Dance Educator. We are looking for an innovative, versatile artist-scholar with the ability to teach dance courses (in a variety of techniques; African, Ballet, Ballroom, Bollywood, Commercial, Gimmicky, Hip Hop, Modern, Musical Theater, Jazz, and/or Tap, Improvisation and/or Composition in the studios.) At this time nosotros are particularly focused on hiring candidates confident in teaching Ballet, Musical Theatre and Tap. DANCE INSTRUCTOR
- Teaches classes in secondary position for 9th-twelfth grade, in accordance with the requirements of approved courses of study and at a rate and level commensurate with established expected student progress expectations, using adopted textbooks and other instructional materials authorized for such courses.
- Uses data almost individual students' academic strengths, needs, and progress in planning.
- Designs activities to appoint students in cognitively challenging, interdisciplinary, project-based work aligned to Common Cadre and/or Content Standards.
- Uses resources that will promote high levels of learning and student engagement in the classroom surroundings.
- Closely monitors student learning in order to empathise how students are progressing toward the learning objectives and provides students with instructive and timely feedback that will movement their learning forrad.
- Establishes a classroom environs that is prophylactic and supportive, risk-taking is encouraged, students feel free to contribute their ideas, and teacher and student interactions are respectful and polite to promote a positive learning environs for all students.
- Initiates or participates in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings with administrators, faculty, parents, and other parties involved to develop and IEP for eligible students.
- Utilizes District approved behavior modification techniques to implement the IEP goals and continually monitors student progress toward IEP goal achievement.
- Follows established policies and procedures for reporting incidents (e.m., child abuse, substance abuse, harassment, and violence).
- Communicates with families to create a partnership around pupil learning by providing information nearly the instructional plan and the progress of their child (ren).
- Reflects on practice and student work to make up one's mind what went well and what changes could improve instruction and uses reflection to inform future education.
- Provides articulate behavior expectations for students and monitors educatee behavior throughout the form andschool campus.
Other Functions
- During periods of disquisitional personnel shortage or other emergency situations, shall temporarily perform whatsoever duties, as directed, within the authorization of any credentials held by the incumbent which are registered with the Role of the Los Angeles County Superintendent of Schools and which are a part of the class description requirements in effect at the time such duties are performed.

Education

3. Credential
